Concrete and daylight

Sillon is a small architecture practice whose work is defined by restraint. The identity had to do the same: a wordmark with almost no personality of its own, and a website that let the photography breathe.

We directed a new set of photographs in natural light and built the site around them, with project pages that read like a walk through each building rather than a slideshow.

Outcome

The practice has since won two competitions with materials built on the system, and the site is regularly cited in their own client conversations.
